Skincare Must Haves

Hey, so a few weeks ago I was having a bit of trouble with my skin which is really rare for me. I'm not usually the one to get spots but when I do I have no idea how to treat them or what kind of products to use. However my fave skincare brand ever has to be Nspa, which is  a brand I've talked about before.

In the end I chose these two: Hot Cloth Cleanser & Skin Glow Mud Mask.

If anyone has read my blog for over a year you'll know that I did have a little gift set full of nspa goodies and this product was also included, which is one of the reasons I picked it up (as well as the offer haha). I do really like this and I have gotten into the routine now of using it every morning and night and I've noticed how much more moisturised and soft my skin feels. If you are looking into trying the Liz Earl hot cloth cleanser I would recommend giving this a go first for a fraction of the price as they are essentially the same thing and both do the job. You can also use this to remove your make up, but I don't like to do this I just take my make up off with a micellar water and then go in with this after, as I think this way is a lot more effective for me.  P.S - also comes with muslin cloth.

Facemasks have always been a fave of mine, I just really like the feel of this one and what my skin looks like after using it. I use this probably twice or three times a week depending on how my skins looking at the time. The only problem I have with this is that it can be quite drying so if you do get yourself this i'd recommend always applying a moisturiser after. But apart from that I feel like this has worked really well and has helped to clear up my skin.

Have you tried any of these products before?

My Favourite Skin Care | Review

Displaying image1.jpeg
(this is what the box set comes with, it also comes with a muslin cloth)

I recently changed my skin care routine and have noticed a lot of difference so I thought I would tell you what i've been using on my skin. I found out about this brand when I was in asda, yes asda and I saw a box full with nspa products for only £10! I had already been eyeing up the brand before and was looking at getting one of the bigger tubes, but because they sold them a tiny bit smaller and in a four pack it was easier to then decide if I liked them or not and got to try a bit of everything. Also they are all numbered thus making it easier to know what to apply first :)

The first one is the cleansing gel, which you apply first. It feels really soft on the skin and isn't too hard to remove either. I really really like this and also if you're feeling a bit lazy on some days you could skip a few steps and just use this.

This is the hot cloth cleanser (which originally comes with the muslin cloth) which i've been really loving it does a good job at removing your make up and I like removing this with either the muslin cloth or a simple flannel. I've noticed a huge difference in my skin since using this.

Next the radiant serum, now i'd never tried a serum before so I was excited to see what all the fuss was about.
I can positively say I now love using serums before my moisturizer, I think it makes your skin look so much more awake than normal and glowy (not oily or sweaty). LOVE IT!

And finally last but not least the brightening day cream, this includes spf15 so a bonus for the summer months.
This goes perfectly with the serum and moisturizes your skin really well and I would say i've got sort of dry skin but not major, however if I have a few dry patches this will get rid of them in only a few hours (depending on how dry my skin was that day)

I honestly have nothing bad to say about this skin care range, and everything i've tried i've been more than pleased with.
I'd never heard of this brand before like I said earlier,
but if you do use this skincare range do let me know what you think of it in the comments :)

Monthly Favorites | October

Beauty/Skincare

Sanctuary Spa - 5 Minute Thermal Detox Mask
This is a self heating face mask. I can honestly say this is one of the best face masks i've ever tried partly because of the fact it's self warming which masks you think something is definalty working or doing something to your face even if it's not haha. But seriously I do think it does everything it says on the packet and it makes your skin look and feel better after use and for £2.50 a packet I will certainly be buying this again :)

Sleek Eyeshadow Palette - Oh So Special

As you can probably tell I love this eyeshadow palette and have been using it a lot lately and have featured it in a few of my blog posts now. It's perfect for any season or occasion which is why I love it so much as it has a range of neutrals and light pinks which are a mixture of matte and shimmer shades which all stay put through out the day :) love.

Natural Collection Loose Powder - Neutral Translucent

Personally I think people over look the natural collection stand because of it's prices and yes I agree some of their products can be a bit shabby but what do you expect for £1.99? But some of their products are just a complete bargain and really worth buying and trying out. This was my sisters first powder which I recommended to her as it wasn't expensive and she's younger than me so she doesn't wear too much make up anyway but when I caught her using this I was so so jealous so I went up to boots and bought myself one :) I even sometimes prefer it over my Rimmel stay matte powder (yes). If you haven't tried anything from natural collection before I highly suggest you do because you might surprise yourself like I did.

Music

Ella Eyre - Comeback
Megan Trainor - All About That Bass
Kristina Perri - Human (fairly old but oh well)
The Script - Superheroes

My Favorite Skincare Products

Moisturizers

I love this moisturizer and would agree with everything it says on the bottle.
Since using this my skin looks and feels so much softer and hydrated which is great for me because I have quite dry skin especially in winter. It doesn't feel oily on my skin when I apply it which is always one of the worst things I find in a moisturizer, it also doesn't take too long to sink into your skin which is another bonus.

This also I love and have been using for a little while longer. My mum has always been a fan of nivea moisturizers and so have I. I'll just apply this before I go to bed if I feel like my skin needs that extra bit of oomph.

Toners & Cleansers

I am a massive fan of this brand and have been for a long time now as I just can't find anything I don't like or won't continue to use after I buy it. Everything I've ever tried from clean and clear has worked for me :) I love this toner it's amazing and I can't recommend it enough, it's perfect for taking makeup off or just even a quick refresh at the end of the day and makes you skin feel cool and clean.

Love,love,love this so much.
It's such a quick way of taking your make up off ( I promise i'm not lazy,I do take great care of my skin ;) ) knowing your not going to skip a step in the process. Because there are no added perfumes in this product its perfect for sensitive skin which I do have but not too bad. This ticks all the boxes for me and also really cheap and is sometimes on offer at boots :)

Yes you guessed I love this a lot too haha. I didn't really know what too expect from this when I first got it but i'm so glad that I picked it up when I did. You basically pump this into your hands and rub it into your face and if you like, your neck (if that floats your boat) and it just sinks right in like a moisturizer which you then take off with warm water. It keeps my skin hydrated all day and you can even wear this under makeup.

Exfoliator

This is also one of my faves although it may look like I haven't used it for long believe me when I say I have, which is another thing I like about their products is that they last a long time even if you do choose to use them daily. This is a nice routine to do before bed or when your skin doesn't feel at it's best and after using this it feel cooler and smooth. I just can't fault this at all and i'm defiantly going to be re-purchasing this after it runs out.

I hope you found this post in some way helpful, I know i'm not the best at describing things but i'm sure i'll get better.

Born Lippy | The Body Shop

The Body Shop 'Born Lippy' Review

Raspberry (dark pink) £2
Watermelon (light pink) £2

If your anything like me and get chapped lips pretty much constantly no matter what then you definitely need to try out these, especially now that winter is on the way. I've been using these for a while now and I wasn't expecting too much of them at first but now I am so glad I bought them and they are not expensive either! They do however transfer a small amount of colour to your lips, but only subtle as it looks as if you've just applied a lip gloss which is always nice. They also taste amazing, they are sweet but not too overpowering, just delicious.I would strongly recommend these to anyone in need of a new lip balm right now.

You can buy these from The Body Shop here: Raspberry or Watermelon
