Review | Zoeva

I recently got these zoeva goodies for my birthday and thought I would do a mini review/first impressions on them seen as I love them so much :)

Zoeva 110 Face Shape Brush - £8.95
Being named 'face shape brush' basically means it's designed for really precised contouring..I don't actually use this brush for it's purpose, I actually use this as my concealer brush because it's great for under the eyes and is sooo soft and doesn't tug your skin either. These brushes also wash extremely well, they don't shed any hairs or loose their shape when drying.

Zoeva Lip Crayon - Tender Rose - £5.95
When I saw this online I thought the colour looked so pretty and I had to have it, I did wonder though will it look the same in real life as many photos of products online can be really off to it's true colour especially when it comes to lipsticks. I would say this is a cross between a lipstick and a super tinted balm because it's so moisturizing which I love and lasts a long enough time but you will need to reapply throughout the day but that doesn't bother me too much.

Zoeva Mirror - £7.95
Now there isn't an awful lot I can tell you about this mirror apart from the fact it's small, compact and travel friendly. It folds away nicely into a little square so the mirror won't get damaged or scratched in your handbag -I know that is very common. It even has it's own little stand on the back which you can adjust.

Have you tried zoeva products? If so let me know which ones and if you liked them in the comments below :)

Review: Lush - Bubblegum Lip Scrub

I'm sure most of you have heard of 'Lush Lip Scrubs' (Try saying that 10 times in a row without slipping, let me know if you did it)by now. If not I'm going to tell you about them now :)

In the lush shop a lady had already recommended lip scrubs to me after I mentioned that I get chapped/dry lips in the winter. She was really helpful and explained what it does, what ingredients it has and everything I needed to know really. She said it's a lip exfoliant, like the ones you normally get for your face but in a lip friendly form. They sell three types, bubblegum, popcorn and mint julips. They also sell a limited edition lip scrub out now called 'santa's lip scrub' for Christmas which was cola flavored. Since I'm not a fan of mint flavored things or cola it was down to bubblegum and popcorn. I opted for the bubblegum because I was most drawn to it (I will most probably end up getting the popcorn one anyway though).

Yes you guessed it tastes AMAZING! I love it!
It makes your lips so much softer and smooth and they are also quiet moisturizing.

The only downside to this is that you can't use it on the go, you can't be out somewhere mirrorless, whip this out and start smearing it all over your lips or your'll look like you've just eaten a dounut really messily.

Do I think it's overpriced? Yes, yes I do. For £5.50 all it is is sugar, oil and flavoring. The price has increased slightly over time I think the first selling price was £4.50? I'm not sure I could be wrong, but I think it is a lot of money for what it actually is. However I love it way to much to care about the price tag so don't be put off.

Have you tried Lush Lip Scrubs? What do you think of them?
